Rotarian Douglas Cowie ran in the Chicago marathon on 12 October and from 39,000 entrants he came 376th and 2nd in his age group. On behalf of the club, Pres Margaret presented Doug with a cake to mark his achievement of completing fifty Marathon runs.

Forres Rotary Club Walk, Sunday 14th of September 2003

Rotary Club of Forres members at the start of the clubs enjoyable walk at Dunearn near Conicavel Darnaway.

The enthousiastic group stopped half way round for a welcome cup of tea already made for them by Rotarian John Taylor and his wife Meg. Photo shows the group before they disappeared down the trail, with Past President Les Hester holding the sign for the distance to go.
